SGM (US Army Retired) Christopher Solis is a Service-Disabled United States Army Veteran with a deep understanding of the challenges that Veterans face. He provides customized solutions that meet specific needs through his work as a mentor with American Corporate Partners (ACP), Director of Professional Development for the Project Management Institute Alamo Chapter, and Vice Chair of Social and Marketing for the American Society of Quality. Chris has expertise in budgeting, finance, human resources, sales, and marketing. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Texas, El Paso, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Development from the University of the Incarnate Word, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Villanova University. In his military career, Chris served as an Exchange Officer at Headquarters, U.S. Army Europe, where he was assigned to the Netherlands with the Royal Dutch Military Academy as an instructor and liaison. He interfaced with the Netherlands Army Leadership, providing guidance on U.S. Army policies and procedures, and collaborated with the Royal Dutch Academy to develop training courses to cultivate leadership skills in future military leaders. He also led a team of preogam and project managers while serving as Director of Workforce Management at Fort Bliss, Texas, and Senior Project Manager in Germany. Chris has international management experience, leading large complex projects and multinational teams of over 2,700 personnel from the United States, Germany, Poland, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His expertise in Lean Six Sigma and continuous process improvement methodologies, his leadership skills and acumen in policy development and implementation, and his humanitarian philosophy of life represent the epicenter of his success and his many contributions.
